1. Toilet Tunes! We’re Back!!!! For a little run of Fall episodes - wheee!
2. MARTIN DEVANEY! AHHHH!
THEE Martin Devaney!
The ‘Night Mayor’ orrrr ‘Unofficial Mayor’ of St Paul. Either way you slice it, he’s mayoral! And it’s like…a tenure track version of mayoral-ity, because he can never be re-elected or unelected. He was just…DECLARED.
🤩🤩
Martin is a fantastic singer-songwriter. A dedicated St Paulite, and bringer-together of people. A fixture of our lovely music scene for over 20 years, Martin has run record labels, released music under his own name, under projects like FOLIOS, and Crossing Guards, played Saxophone in bands like Roma di Luna and Heiruspecs, is beginning a fantastic residency at the White Squirrel, and now, finally, is singing in my Big Green Bathroom. Also, we don’t talk about this but did you know he was once a CHEESEMONGER? As you can maybe feel, I think he’s pretty cool. I think this Steve/Lucinda song he brought my way is pretty cool. I think the fact that we are back at episode 101 with Toilet Tunes in beyond cool. Consider making us your Friday lunch programming! ❤️

📚 Where Are You Learning
Martin is learning through patience, through staying open, and maybe by slowing his roll a little. We take a deep breath. It’s good.
