Here’s the official music video for “Purple Tiger,” a song from our album called “Living In A Haze.”
Writing this song was a lot of fun for us because the process felt like painting. We followed the music and lyrics to create a dreamy, metaphorical world that reminded us of “Alice in Wonderland.” We took our time to find the right sound, but we’re really happy with how it turned out.
LYRICS
I got kissed by the sun
I pulled the trigger of the gun
Barrel flowers came at once
I took the shot and set them free
I heard them sing “Love Is All You Need”
Take me to your dreamland
You and me, babe
I just wanna stay here all day
Show me how to love you, I’d say, I’d say
Take me to your dreamland
You and me, babe
I just wanna stay here all day
Show me how to love you, I’d say
Show me how to love you
Show me how to love you
Take me to your dreamland
Show me how to love you
Take me to your dreamland
The yellow sky was high above
The purple tiger fell in love
He didn't know what was going on
But I took the shot and set him free
‘Cause I heard them sing “Love Is All You Need”
Take me to your dreamland
You and me, babe
I just wanna stay here all day
Show me how to love you, I’d say, I’d say
Take me to your dreamland
You and me, babe
I just wanna stay here all day
Show me how to love you, I’d say
Show me how to love you
Show me how to love you
Take me to your dreamland
Show me how to love you
Take me to your dreamland
