Summary :- Op is a 24-year-old woman who has just finished studying and is paying off a student loan. Her parents are very unhappy in their marriage and have always been. Her mother is very emotionally abusive, with a tendency to disappear. She is also the main breadwinner since she comes from a rich family, she holds this over op’s father so that he does not leave her. Finally, he has enough and ends up cheating on her with one of the neighbors, a kind divorcee named Tilda whom Op actually respects. While she is torn about who to support, her mother makes it clear that she does not need op’s help. Months later, op’s grandparents from her mother’s side whom she only met a few times, pass away and leave her a beach house and some money. She uses the money to pay off her loan and decides to rent out the beach house. But her father and his new wife Tilda beg her to let them stay there for free. She initially refuses but makes a deal with them to stay for 3 months then they have to start paying rent. They fail to uphold the deal, even though they have enough money to pay the rent.
