Music by Daada & Maono
I wrote this song inspired by what we all went through during the pandemic. Like many, I spent weeks upon weeks alone in my flat, living life in my pyjamas and deprived of physical contact with people I love. Those months of lockdown drove me crazy. My body, my hands, my skin ached to feel people close, to simply hold hands, to hug, to hold another human.
In early March 2022, 10 of us spent a weekend in the frosty, windy streets of Berlin, filming a story of loneliness, of yearning for the physical touch of a loved one, of going mad to the point of hallucination. Painting this landscape between past and present and dream and reality.
