A full facelift targets sagging muscles under the skin to minimize jowls and neck sagacity, whereas a mid facelift targets areas on the face around the cheek and jaw in patients without much neck sagacity. A mini facelift is generally performed in patients that demonstrate early aging signs or those who previously had a full facelift and is less invasive than a traditional facelift. In a mini facelift, only the skin is tightened, not the sagging muscles
