Joe Ventura teams up with New York’s soulful songstress, Tracy Brathwaite, to deliver a vibrant cover of Oscare’s 1990 House classic, ‘Reconsider’. Giving this treasured gem a respectful new makeover, Joe and Tracy’s ‘Reconsider (Classic Mix)’ comes with a nostalgic 90’s house vibe loaded with feel-good pianos, sweeping synths, catchy brass stabs, jackin’ beats and beautiful heartfelt vocals, primed to lift any dance floor mood. Adding a cool New York vibe, the ‘West 54th Street NYC Mix’ comes with an infectious percussive house groove, a classic warm bumping bass and garnished with some serious freestyle key solo wizardry.
Joe Ventura launched BIG Speaker Music in 2020. His singles ‘Shaft Me (Shut Your Mouth Mix)’ and ‘Start With Pianos’ received lots of plays from Jeremiah Asiamah on BBCR1’s Soundsystem show. Other singles such as ‘Shame’ and ‘I’ll Wait’ with Sulene Fleming (Incognito), ‘Salsa House’, ‘Blackout’ and his remixes of Todd Terry & Gypsymen, ‘Hear The Music’ and ‘Stoppin’ Us’, have received support from Louie Vega, Danny Howard, Jimpster, DJ Sasha, Claptone, Jamie Jones, Graeme Park and more! Joe also hosts the BIG Speaker Music Radio Show, which can be heard on both Data Transmission and Ibiza Live Radio.
Tracy Brathwaite is a Soul singer, songwriter and actress, who has found the most success and love in House Music. In 1996, ‘Oh Happy Day’ was released, produced by Victor Simonelli and Frankie C and in 2014, she was signed to Honeycomb Music with ‘For Kim’, a four song EP, produced by Josh Milan. Tracy co-wrote three of the tracks with ‘SMILE’, winning great acclaim. In 2022, Tracy got back to her House Music roots, working with Joe Ventura on ‘Reconsider’, which will later feature remixes from Lenny Fontana and Doug Gomez.
