Composing the song started after a night out clubbing in Nairobi, Kenya. It was my first time in East Africa so “I have never been here before” was the first line which then developed into the song. I then produced and recorded the song in Harare, Zimbabwe. I had my talented sister, Drey (Audrey) handle vocals (which resulted in an amazing performance!). As for meaning, the song is a narration of how it feels to experience an amazing DJ and music in a new environment…” - Young DLC Young DLC is considered one of the most in-demand producers in Africa.
