LYRICS:
Lately, you’re not impressed
I’ve sent you a message
You know, to get it off my chest
Lately you’re not impressed
I hope you feel better
The truth, I know it’s for the best
And maybe you’ll let me through
Because I’ve earned the right
With all the doubt you threw
(Chorus)
It’s tempting, to quit it’s easy
But I’ll never let them take my pride
You doubt me, your hatred drives me
You always try, but it won’t change my mind
It’s crazy, won’t you let me be
I’ll build from here, to show the critics we’re care-free
And when you, you let me through
I know I’ve earned the respect from you and all the cynics too
(Chorus)
You’re not impressed, you never were
(Chorus)
