As one of dance music's most influential figures, few have impacted the electronic music soundscape like Anja Schneider has. Whether it's nurturing future talents or spinning records to thousands of fans, Anja's vibrant personality seems to shine through in everything that she does. As a club DJ, radio presenter, and record label owner, for over 20 years Anja has immersed herself deeper and deeper into the Berlin music scene and she is showing no signs of slowing down as she continues to produce and release music through her Sous Music label and Club Room radio show. In this episode of Behind the Headphones, the veteran DJ discusses the effect commercialism has had on the industry, the feeling of playing out again after the lockdowns, the difficulty of staying true to yourself, and much more.
