Black Cilice (Portugal) - Tomb Emanations (EP 2021)

The return. The vile and haunting return of the portuguese tyrant. One that should need no introduction. One of the most revered acts of the portuguese underground, and arguably the most inescapable act of 21st century Raw Black Metal. Only the second EP release by Black Cilice, following 2015's "Nocturnal Mysticism". "Tomb Emanations", however, is definitely disruptive with the path that the specter seemed to be carving with the past two releases, coming back here to a rougher, more dungeon-y and spectral sound, akin to that of the classics, "Summoning the Night" and "Mysteries", both in the production as in vocal style. Absolute transcendental black magic, as no less would be expected from Black Cilice. Released as a 7'' EP via Iron Bonehead Productions.
