South African singer and songwriter, Lungi Naidoo, follows up the release of her recent singles 'Feel Good' and 'About You' with her latest dance floor inspired single 'Azania' on 17th September, taken from her forthcoming EP 'COURAGE' which is set for release on 24 September across all DSPs.
'Azania' is one of the highlights on COURAGE which Lungi explains, “Is a song about my country and the entire continent. I love that even though we have gone through so much, we always survive. And as a people we will never fade. This song represents a love that we all share for music and dance with a message of togetherness and fortitude!”
The forthcoming 'COURAGE' EP was co-written, recorded and produced by Dantae Johnson at The Woods Studios in London and mixed & executive produced by Pete ‘Boxsta’ Martin at the Matrix Studio complex. 'Addicted' was produced by Tega at Blues Steam Entertainment Studio in Lagos, Nigeria. Lungi recorded all the vocals at the Sound Foundry studio in Cape Town with Greg Abrahams. The EP is also mixed in Dolby Atmos by Jan ‘Stan’ Kybert and will be available in Spatial Audio on Apple Music.
After a 20 year journey in the music industry, Lungi’s hope for her tenacious EP COURAGE, is that it helps someone out there who may have given up because she wants them to know that they matter and that their story, no matter what the circumstance, matters.
