Michael Jackson ~ I Can't Help It 1979 Jazz Funk Purrfection Version

Here is one more "Off The Wall" remix in my quest to remix each song on the album and so far I have completed Side One. For Side Two "Off The Wall" is already done and today its "I Can't Help It". Written by Stevie Wonder, his brand of jazzy R&B is all over this one especially with jazz veteran producer Quincy Jones at the helm. Michael's vocal here is more intimate and more jazz trio sounding than the version on his album which is super spacy sounding. That will leave four songs to do to complete the entire album, "Girlfriend", "She's Out Of My Life", "It's The Falling In Love" and "Burn This Disco Out". I may not do them in sequence, I remix them when inspiration strikes and this one really just stood out today, it demonstrates Michael's amazing ability to sing many genres of music. This is a demo version of the song on the album and its simplicity appealed to me and you can hear Michael having some fun with his vocals. It was released as the B side of his #1 hit "Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough".
