Konshens - Can't Stay Sober (Official Music Video)

Konshens - Can't Stay Sober (Official Music Video) Konshens Can't Stay Sober Official Music Video produced by Good Good Productions is a moody and provocative meditation on the pros and cons of self-medication, and the first taste of the dancehall star’s upcoming album with Ineffable Records, Red Reign. Despite the title, the track neither advocates for, or condemns, drinking and drug use. Rather, it’s KONSHENS’ way of commenting on the toll that the pandemic and recent societal upheaval has taken on our collective consciousness, and the steps we are taking to cope. “The current climate of the world is forcing you into a state where it’s almost like you really can’t stay sober,” KONSHENS says. “I’m not encouraging it, I’m acknowledging the reality that this is what’s happening. This is a stressful time, and people are searching for an escape.” Listen Here: https://ffm.to/cantstaysober Produced by Good Good Productions Released on Ineffable Records Credits Director: Kenny Gray Co-Director: Konshens Produced by Good Good Production Follow Konshens Website: https://www.konshensmusic.com/ Instagram: http://instagram.com/konshens Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/konshensrealestfans Twitter: https://twitter.com/Konshens YouTube: http://bit.ly/1MjKHXn Spotify: https://spoti.fi/37MEV5X Soundcloud: https://soundcloud.com/konshens-music-online Subscribe to the official Konshens YouTube Channel: http://bit.ly/1MjKHXn ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Lyrics Mother bawl hungry a lick pickney from all angle Ghetto people face some pressure weh you cyaa handle Hard tackle dem a put pan ghetto youth ankle Likkle bredda rise a spinners with the broad handle Politicians promise things we know dem don't plan to Mi likkle savings weh mi have jus' a get dismantle If you fi face this everyday you woulda mus' mad to Mi need a grand bag to I can't stay sober When the world a move like Everything a go wrong nothin' nah move right man Cyaa stay pan di grung man affi turn up ganja affi burn up I can't stay sober Marijuana a mi Visa inna di ghetto but mi feel like me deh Ibiza Worst when me see wah deh inna media, got to leave yah I can't stay sober Yo bro, weh sober a go Affi have mi stashy if a road mi a go Me no too level off more than so Most times you see me up inna cloud me a go And it's crazy how mi focus more when mi up But it's like mi brain know how fi block out certain stuff Life tough and it rough and it fuck up Weed affi puff up bottle dem affi buss up Me can't stay sober When the world a move like Everything a go wrong nuttn nah move right man Cyaa stay pan di grung man affi turn up ganja affi burn up I can't stay sober Marijuana a mi Visa inna di ghetto but mi feel like me deh Ibiza Worst when me see wah deh inna media, got to leave yah I can't stay sober I'm not a alcoholic, but I gotta float through all this My little brain no stop think 'bout this stress please poor me a drink What kinda weed you got over there?
