Speed Bar Drills

These are three drill variations to make your speed bar transitions and pitch controls smother, quicker and more sub-conscious. 1. Add Speed to Avoid Pitch Back(starting at "trim"): 1) Start with no speed bar applied. 2) Build pitch movements with the brakes. 3) When the glider is in front of you and moving back be ready to apply speed when it's overhead to keep it overhead. 2. Off Speed To Avoid Overshoot: 1). Flying on speed, create pitch using the rear risers. 2).When the glider is behind anticipate it moving forward and be ready to dump bar once its overhead. 3) Release enough speed bar to stop the forward movement exactly over head and keep the glider overhead. 3. Add more speed to avoid pitch back: 1). Flying on less than full speed with your next foot ready on the next step of speed, create pitch using rear risers. 2) When the glider is in front anticipate it moving back. 3). When its overhead add speed to stop it from pitching behind you. If you like the content consider paying me for it: https://www.patreon.com/mitchintheair Thanks!
