just wanted to make a childhood dream come true.
a few facts! when asking my friend to help me create some art for this video, i asked her to make filipino versions of annaliese and erika, complete with traditional filipino attire and everything. annaliese, being royalty, is wearing a dress that was common for nobility in the philippines during the 17th century, which was the maria clara dress. erika, being a commoner, is wearing a simple baro't saya, or a blouse and a skirt. i thought it would be fun to make these classic barbie characters filipino since i'm filipino myself. i also really enjoy seeing classic characters drawn as other ethnicities, so there's that.
