Playing along with my favorite David Gilmour Song (Raise My Rent)

 

Playing along with Raise My Rent, from David Gilmour's first solo release (1978). It's the 6th track of the CD, the 2nd track on side 2 of the LP. I learned the arpeggio part years ago, and recently decided to tackle the solo. I plan to do a full version of my own, but in the meantime I thought I'd try making a "playing along with" video. Full disclosure - the audio and video were done separately. That is, I first recorded myself playing along with the recording, then made the video of myself playing along with that. I fade out my audio of the clean arpeggio part when the solo starts. This is my first attempt at video, so it's not perfectly synced, but not too bad. #guitar #davidgilmour #strat
