Belarusian native Edvard Hunger has inscribed some wonderful contributions to the Soluna imprint on compilations and as a remixer, but we are now more than delighted to release his debuting “In the Light of Darkness” EP. Inseparable twins, Light and Darkness, cannot exist without one another. Both are eternal flames.
The sun, in its forever coat of flame, casually rises in the still, dim lit atmosphere of “In the Light of Darkness,” reflected by a manifesting bassline contouring over a pulsating beat. Guitar strums radiate fingers of light that, in effect, cast shadows in their stride. This is a track of balanced light and dark progressive elements. “White Snow” is the upbeat sibling of the release, focusing on rigorous riffs and bouncy grooves that evoke positive vibes amongst a wintry setting.
