Lyrics:
The moon she laid above us
We were staring at the cold black skies
And you laid your head around my shoulder and said
"Oh how I wish I could stay here forever,
until our bodies turn to dust and bones”
Remember when we were younger,
We would sit there
and make promises that we never kept
But now it's all just some memories again
you've changed my dear, you have changed
If I could ever be,
what you want me to be,
would you want me to be somebody else?
If you could ever see,
how much you mean to me,
would you to me to be anybody else.
Well the days have gone,
the lights are out
Maybe this dawn will make another sound
But if we ever meet in another life
We could change my dear, we could change
If I could ever be,
what you want me to be,
would you want me to be somebody else?
If you could ever see,
how much you mean to me,
would you want me to be anybody else.
Well, I can't make any promises
But I'll tell you this for sure
I'll be waiting for you in another life
I will wait my dear
I will wait until our bodies turn to dust and bones.
