Well, I finished tallying the hundreds of votes. To be honest, I was a little disappointed with the #1 choice. Don't get me wrong, I love the group and almost all their songs after their debut, but I just do not like their first one. What really annoyed me the most was the fans who voted only for that song and no one else. You were supposed to list up to 7. It breaks my heart seeing you only liking one artist. Do I think the song deserves to be in the Top 10? Sure. Do I think it's worthy of being #1? Um, no. I personally felt that #3 should've been #1 since it was a song that catapulted them to stardom. It was fierce. Set their image and personality, and even won them the triple crown. Hell, it was even considered one of the Top 10 songs of the decade in Korea. And I'm saying this as unbiased as possible. I'm actually more of a fan for #1 than #3.
Anyways, enough of the negativity. It was certainly nice to see what you guys considered your favorite debut songs. I would've have ordered it differently myself. Seeing this list proved a few good points. 1. There are many new K-Pop fans as it is clear that many don't know the more popular artists' debut songs and instead vote for the ones that were more recent (a.k.a. the rookies). 2. Some of you still voted for your favorite artist even when this is supposed to be about the songs.
All in all, I do actually like making these Top 10 videos even though it creates so much anger and negativity from viewers. Anyways, thank you for voting, watching, subscribing, "liking", and leaving wonderful commentary! Please keep it up!
