Kompakt sub-label Connected, run by Terranova and Stereo MC's, have enlisted a strong cast of producers to supply material on the 'Connected Selects' compilation, including Tim Engelhardt who reimagines David Meyer's 'Drained' into a deep and melodic techno cut.
Hailing from Germany, Tim Engelhardt has been generating a strong buzz in clubland with a string of releases on Poker Flat, Parquet Recordings, Vivrant and Fryhide, as well as a live show that's in high-demand. His latest remix showcases the hypnotic and haunting techno essence of his musical persona, a style he's explored throughout his flourishing career.
The 'Connected Selects' compilation, which includes music by Florian Busse, Re.you, Nandu, Rebootm Stereo MC's and much more, is set for release September 9.
