This song is simple. It's about people coming together to fight for something they believe in. It's about community. It's about hope and about change. It's about being part of making a difference and that reaching out for help is okay, great, even.
And we thought, what better way to show that in the video than to share the message to #stopadani.
I had the amazing a beautiful privilege of making this video with the beautiful team at #StopAdani Sunshine coast!
Right now, Adani is itching to dig one of the biggest coal mines in the world in Queensland’s Galilee Basin.
If it goes ahead, burning coal from the mega-mine would generate billions of tonnes of pollution, which will fuel global warming further and irreversibly damage our Great Barrier Reef (one of the most incredible places on Earth and home to countless species of sea life and corals) at a time when it is already barely holding on.
Already, millions of people right across Australia have stepped up to stop Adani’s dangerous mine. This is one of the biggest campaigns in our history.
The #stopadani movement has stopped $1 billion of handouts to Adani. It has stopped more than 25 big banks.
But that is just the beginning.
