The Avett Brothers put on a spiritual and breathtaking performance at Outside Lands 2017. New tunes and old were played with a raw, spontaneous energy. They had as much fun with the music as they gave it reverence. They fed off of us as much as we did from them. Then they closed their set with this tune. There are dozens of people around me and thousands of people behind me and we were all in this together. This is why I love live music.
