Hummin' Comin' at 'Cha is the debut studio album by Xscape released in 1993. It went on to sell 1 million copies in the US. It spent a total of 36 weeks on the Billboard 200 chart. It contains the top 10 hits "Just Kickin' It" and "Understanding." Musical genres on the album include R&B, hip hop soul, new jack swing, and soul. The album was a commercial and critical success in which had them appearing in different films, shows, and soundtracks. Critics praised the vocal harmonies on the album and how well the quartet's vocals blend.
