"Mockingbird" is a song from Eminem's fifth studio album, "Encore" (released in 2004), and also appeared on his 2005 greatest hits album "Curtain Call".
It is one of Eminem's most personal songs, telling details from his family life, about his ex-wife and his daughter Hailie.
"Mockingbird" became a huge hit and received a Grammy nomination!
Mockingbird has a beautiful piano playing in the background, which you can learn with this tutorial video.
In the chorus, Eminem sings the famous children’s lullaby:
“Now hush little baby, don't you cry
Everything's gonna be alright”
