Like so many, I grew up listening to Linkin Park, with their music shaping my life from my pre-teens right through to today—nearly two decades later. Chester’s voice was unlike any other—raw, powerful, and filled with emotion. His talent shone so brightly and captured the hearts of millions.
I had the honour of seeing Linkin Park live multiple times, and every show blew me away. Seeing Hybrid Theory played in full in 2014 was one of those once-in-a-lifetime moments I’ll never forget.
Though we’ll never experience that magic live again, the music and memories remain deeply etched in our hearts. As fans and fellow humans, we take comfort in knowing Chester is finally at peace—free from the pain he carried for so long. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family, his bandmates, and everyone who loved him during this incredibly heartbreaking time.
For a man who influenced me, my brothers, my generation—and even my mum—I felt it only right to go a little old-school and make a fan tribute video like we all used to in the early 2000s.
