Sabarinathan MLA weds Dr Divya Iyer IAS in a simple ceremony | Kaumudy TV

 

Aruvikkara MLA K S Sabarinathan tied the knots to Thiruvananthapuram sub collector Dr. Divya S Iyer in a simple ceremony at Sri Kumaraswami Temple in Thuckalay near Kanyakumari. The ceremony took place between the auspicious time of 9.30 am and 10.15 am. Contrary to the glitter and pomp of current time weddings, the bride came decked in a beautiful red silk sari and little ornaments which consisted of two simple gold chains around the neck. The groom wore a kasavu dhoti and a piece of cloth to cover his upper body. Sabarinathan MLA is the son of former Kerala legislative assembly speaker G Karthikeyan and Dr. M T Sulekha, and Dr. Divya S Iyer is the daughter of P S Sesha Iyer and Bhagavathy Ammal. Former CM Oommen Chandy, opposition leader Ramesh Chennithala, V D Sateeshan, K C Joseph, Anto Antony, S Rajendran, T P Sreenivasan, and Biju Prabhakaran were among the prominent personalities who attended the function. The wedding reception will be held at Girideepam Convention Centre in Nalanchira, Thiruvananthapuram, today evening.
