May 26, 2017 – Deerhoof live on the Blue stage, Day 1, Boston Calling. This is the first year the festival was located at Harvard’s athletic fields in Allston, MA.
We caught up with drummer Greg Saunier backstage after the band's set and talked to him about Deerhoof's various recording strategies over the years, playing festivals, where guitarist Ed Rodriguez gets his beautiful wardrobe, and how to avoid helping his bandmates load the rented mini-van.
