For composer Craig Courtney, music has been a lifelong pursuit. Coming from a musical family, he began picking up melodies on the piano at the age of three. His sister, mother, and father sang in a church trio when he was young, surrounding him with music from the start, so a love and understanding of music came naturally to him.
