SIMION presents two cuts of upfront house music that are prime for the dancefloor. First up is title-track, ‘The Rhythm’, a nod to the 90s Chicago sound with jacking drums and a sensual female vocal. Backed up by a funk-fuelled bassline and a lush piano breakdown that lead into a deep house groove. The B-side ‘Feeling Good’ is true to its title. Tight percussion, chopped vocals and a catchy synth line all come together in a fluttering climax. This one is sure to leave any dancefloor shaking.
