Download Mercuriall's u530, LePou plugins's LeCab and Metallica Golden IR Impulse Pack. Additionally, you need a guitar suitable for heavy sounds (like a mahogany guitar with emg pickups for example). Not a good idea to use a telecaster sort of guitar. This tutorial will not show how DAW's work, you unfortunately will have to find that info from elsewhere. It is also assumed that concept of playing guitar through computer is not unheard of for you. I recommend you have a dedicated audio interface to get better audio quality and lower latency.
