LEPERGOD is formed in March 2013 in Buenos Aires, Argentina by Thav (Inferi, Bloodparade), Zygth (Inferi), Mariano Miranda (Deimos, Avernal, Bloodparade, Vector, Canhalet) and Diego Conte (Mastifal, Warbreed) to play an obscure death metal with lyrics based on Satanism and Folk tales from Argentina, especially from Santiago del Estero. In December 6 of 2015 the band release his first demo “AZUFRE” recorded, mixed and mastered in Kirkincho Records Buenos Aires,Argentina by Jorge Moreno in October of 2015. Once released the demo, the band decided to start playing livein Buenos Aires thanks to the good reception of people to the demo. In March 2016 the band was supporting bands like ARCTURUS and DESTROYER 666 in their visits to Argentina.- In July 2016 the band participates in the first edition of METAL BATTLE WACKEN ARGENTINA reaching the final and winning the competition, becoming so in the first Argentinean band to represent his country at the famous WACKEN OPEN AIR: METAL BATTLE 2016, contesting in Germany.Currently the band is preparing his show for WACKEN METAL BATTLE 2016 that will take place on August 4 in Germany.
