This is just a little evening improv exploring the possibilities of the Paul Vo Wond together with the Digitech Whammy V in the 2nd down position. The Wond has quite a range of tones available. I really love the super high harmonics I'm getting when I hold the Wond near the bridge pickup (the guitar is on the neck pickup when I play with the Wond). Adding the Whammy in the 2nd down position opens up a world of interesting phrasing possibilities.
When playing with the Wond I turn the tone knob all the way down and I usually play with the Destroyer effect from the Strymon Mobius which is a filter that simulates an old radio (or whatever) and combines that with vinyl like modulation.
The opening drone is made cranking the reverb knob on the Old Blood Noise Procession. For the entire thing I have a long modulated plate reverb from the Big Sky and a slow (37.8 BPM) panned delay from TC Electronics Nova Delay. I also used the Strymon El Capistan on a moderate setting.
