INTERVIEW
ø1 - Do you remember your first techno slap ?
It was back in the 90‘, after my move to Berlin and first visits to Linientreu and Tresor club. I always liked hard and raw sounds but unfortunatelly it was not popular at the time in Poland. I was shocked, amazed and felt in love from the first note in Berlin’s music scene.
ø2 - What are the artists who influenced you this year ?
Hard to tell as yet but looking back at 2015 Container, Ancient Methods and Perc TraxLabel (which inspires me the most) are definitely the one to mention.
I’m also excited what will 2016 bring, especially that past time I have received lots of interesting demos, so keep an eye on the new releass at Corresponding Positions!
ø3 - If you have to hold one record, which one will be ?
First thought Dj Rush -I believe –many memories.
ø4 - Could you tell us more about the artists and the guideline you want to express with Corresponding Positions?
At first i was focused on working with friends and artists I personally like and respect, as for instance Pec which always influence my work most.
Last release was a tribute to amazing female preasure artists as well as my personl political statement.
After 2 years I started excepting demos and was pretty amazed with the outcome. A lot of new talents and great sounds to be revealed! Schedule for 2016 is already closed and must say it’s going to be an amzing year.
ø5 - What is your producing set up?
I produce on Ableton Live but also use a large amount of analog gear.
ø6 - Some words about your next projects and releases ?
Recently I’m spending lots of time in the studio, working on new sounds and slowly getting ready for a new vinyl release on C.P.but other plans i need to keep in secret for time being. .All i can say is that i prepared absolutely new live set for Paris, to be heard later today.
