The technique that is shown allows the user to have notes played repeatedly without the use of any external controllers with a note repeat function. This method can be used in any version of reason that has the RPG-8 module in its rack. In part one of the tutorial, Cheez walks viewers through step by step instructions to create a basic and very usable note repeat combinator.
