Hi Blue Stars,
When I write music, I love to write based on things that I see or personally experience in my life, and things I feel strongly about and want to shine a light on. I wrote this song to let you know that no matter what, you don`t ever need to be someone that you`re not. You don`t need to emulate other people. Who you are is good enough. Sometimes we tend to get wrapped up in so much social media and other people`s lives, or in trying to be the most "popular" and get the most "likes" on instagram and while doing that, we tend lose grasp of who we are and we start to believe that we need to be a certain way to be "cool" or "popular" or "fit in". Its so so important that we take a step back and realize that we don`t need to put on a false disguise to impress others. Just be you. Thats all you need, because "theres no loyal`s when you`re fronting like Royalty"
This is the first original song i`ve released this year and the reason is because I wanted to make sure that my next song truly represented me as an artist as well as the new sound I wanted to share with you. I wanted to make sure that everything was perfect before I shared anything with you because you only deserve what I think is the best and what I think you`ll love. It was a blast recording this and filming the music video and putting it together for you. It was even more amazing because while creating this, I met so many talented people and made life-long friends.
I love that I have you all on this journey with me and I need your help to make this song HUGE.
