Film by http://www.pipe-organ-recordings.com Come hear the organ: http://www.olrbrooklyn.org/organ-recitals-in-new-york-city/ Stephen Buzard one of the finest young organists in the USA today stopped by Our Lady of Refuge Church in the Ditmas Park section of Brooklyn to record the newly restored pipe organ in the church. This work by Edward Elgar was written for a large orchestra - The Imperial March, but Buzard plays a transcription of it for the organ. Watch his hands and feet as he plays on several keyboards at the same time and opens and closes the pedals which makes the organ louder and softer - he really achieves the effects of an orchestra. Come here this organ live - read about the church's organ recital series: http://www.olrbrooklyn.org/organ-recitals-in-new-york-city/ The organ repair was carried out by two of the finest organ builders in the USA: Quimby Pipe Organs http://www.quimbypipeorgans.com and A.R. Schopp's Sons http://arschopp.com It was more then a repair - it was a full pipe organ restoration
