http:/www.vanessarodrigues.com/category/blog/brazil-rhythm-and-joy/ --- In honour of Rio's upcoming Carnaval, here is a quick demo of how to play carreteiro on the tamborim! *** Update: I paraded in the bateria (drum corps) of Viradouro samba school in this year's Carnaval. The bateria received "Nota 10"!! (perfect score); also, the whole parade was spectacular and the judges agreed ... Viradouro went on to win the championship of our devision (Serie-A) and will parade with the top division (Grupo Especial) next year!
