This track was put together back in 2010. It's a fusion of Murray Golds 10th Doctor theme with Grainers title theme. With this arrangement I wanted to convey the Doctors power, rage, joy and, as the title suggests, his loneliness. It's almost entirely orchestral, with the Derbyshire melody sample being used to emphasise the otherworldly quality of the Doctor.
