Team Blake and Team Shakira perform in the live playoffs and Blakira is born! Hey guys here's a recap of the latest episode of 'The Voice'.It's the Top 16 right now and last night Team Blake and Team Shakira's contestants performed live for America's votes in part two of the playoff round. The Top 12 will be announced on Wednesday's live show, sending home one person from each team this week. But to show some amiable rivalry Shakira and Blake performed a duet on the show, a cover of Lady Antebellum's "Need You Now". The two blended their voices surprisingly well, take a look.
And now, Blakira is born. But back to the competition at hand. Standouts of the night included Team Blake's 16-year-old singing beginner Danielle Bradbury. She has stood out since her adorable Taylor Swift blind audition and last night she performed Country song "Maybe It Was Memphis". She debuted a new darker look with colored hair and dark makeup, take a look at her performance.
Rival coach Usher was very complimentary of Danielle's performance saying, "You're one of the ones to beat!" While Shakira could only get out two words after the performance saying, "Holy crap". We totally agree and we're going to predict she makes it to the Top 5 in the competition. Standout singer on Team Shakira included Sasha Allen who snagged the last performance of the night. She took her coaches advice and wore a sexy black dress as she performed "Oh, Darling". Sasha not only belted huge notes but brought some grittiness to the song and coach Shakira said afterwards she's one of the "best voices"she has ever heard.
