A car fire at the corner of Ellston Street and Sinton Road in Colorado Springs, May 29, 2012. It took the fire department 10 minutes to respond, even though they have a fire station roughly one mile away. In their defense, I made clear when I called that there was no one in the car or in any kind of danger generally. Still seemed like an eternity before they arrived.
