Jimpster's Alsace & Lorraine gets retweaked, refixed, reinterpretated - whatever other cooler sounding alternatives there are to the word remixed - by some of our favourite producers from the past present and future.
Josh Wink goes balls out on his Interpretation #1 clocking in at eleven and a half
minutes, most of which are sans kick drum. The chiming synths from the original are put through the Winkler Machine and out comes some serious sonic trickery that builds in intensity over the course of the track. Definitely one for those special moments when it's time to dig deep and freak out the crowd with something extraordinary.
Up next is some sublime deepness from Dairmount & Berardi whose releases and
remixes on labels like Room With A View and Atjazz have made them ones to watch for raw and underground late night sounds.
Next up is Ripperton who adds some acoustic bass to the mix but keeps things seriously spacey and deep with subtle textures and effects making this a very dubby affair.
Finally, JW provides a more concise (if you call eight minutes concise) and straight up house version available only on the digital release.
