The video that kicked off the WV brand!
This video came about thanks to my big brothers at Ballistic Productions and artist J-Skillz, who told me that a producer called Aman Hayer wanted a video doing. The guys at Ballistics we're too busy, and as I was a junior member on the team helping on set, this would be a good guy to kick off my solo direction/production work...
So I built up the confidence to give Aman a call and we arranged a meet up to discuss the video. The budget for the video was very low, but as a new director I was just happy to get another video under my belt. When I heard the song for the first time I was blown away, i didn't care about the budget, I just knew I had to do the video as this song would be around for years!
Ok lets be honest it's not the most original video out there, but with the limited time and resources I'm very happy with it! Moreover Aman was very happy with it and that's the most important thing I guess. At the time the editing and good lighting was quite rare on the UK Bhangra scene, and outside of Ballistic Productions, WV Entertainment became to grow as another reputable brand with UK Bhnagra music videos.
The video was later rated 3rd best music video by Zee TV's "Jus Bhangra" show!
Directors note: This is one of the few videos to have a completely male cast! I guess that why girls like this video!
