John William Cummings, who people called Johnny Ramone when he performed, was an American musician. He played the guitar and helped start the Ramones, a band that was important in making punk music popular. In 2002, the Ramones were put into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Ian Fraser Kilmister, who people knew as Lemmy Kilmister or just Lemmy, was a musician from Britain. He started the rock band Motörhead and was the main singer, played bass, and wrote most of the songs. He was the only member of Motörhead who stayed in the band the whole time. Before Motörhead, Lemmy was also part of the band Hawkwind from 1971 to 1975.
