Magnum Band was founded in 1976 by vocalist, guitarist player, author and composer Andre "Dadou" Pasket and his older brother Claude "Tico" Pasket considered by many as one of the top Drummer and Percussionist in the Haitian Music. Magnum Band has deep roots in Haitian Music, amplifying "the Haitian Konpa Rhythm with different blistering and distinctive guitar solo Jazzy Horn charts, sensitive phrasing and socially concious lyrics. Magnum Band remains the Classic in the Haitian popular music.
