I can't believe I shot The Rain And The River back in 2021!! Crazy! It was just sitting on my drive so I decided to find a home for it. Shooting this short film was my film school. The many mistakes made during it's creation , have definitely made me a better filmmaker. And I'm Brining that experience on to my next projects.
Inspired by true events, The Rain And The River is about an overly passive man who yearns to live his life and find love but he must first battle his self doubt and over bearing old fashioned Haitian mother. This is a very slow and quiet paced drama that displays a life changing day for our main character and underdog, Alexander. Alexander also suffers from a slight case of (TS) Tourette Syndrome which is a neurodevelopmental disorder that causes him to tic, especially when he deals with a great deal of pressure.
