Shaunae Miller Uibo is the reigning Olympic champion in the 400m dash and just the 2nd woman in history to defend their Olympic Gold medal in the event. Early in 2023, she announced that she was pregnant and eventually gave birth to her first child in late April.
Though Miller-Uibo quickly returned to competition, actually competing in a heptathlon and then running the 400m heats at the Budapest world championships, the question on everyone’s mind now is if she is capable of winning an unprecedented 3rd Olympic gold medal in Paris next year. Can actually win another Olympic 400m Gold, or will she be switching to the heptathlon sooner than we think?
