Bryant Cook plays Lotus Field Combo in a Pioneer League on Magic: The Gathering Online! These matches were played on: 09/13/23
Lotus Combo is a deck named after its crucial card — Lotus Field. Which we're looking to pair with Thespian's Stage to copy the Lotus Field. Once we have a pair of Lotus lands, we use effects such as Hidden Strings and Pore Over the Pages to create mana.
From there, we have powerful sorceries such as Dark Petition, Behold the Beyond, and Emergent Ultimatum to create an advantage. Eventually, we play a Lier, Disciple of the Drowned, allowing us to play draw spells from our graveyard until we can draw our entire library into Omniscience. At this point, we cast Chandra, Hope's Beacon, and then Bala Ged Recovery (copied by Chandra) getting back two other copies of Bala Ged Recovery. We then minus Chandra to deal five damage. Now, we Bala Ged Recovery to get back the Chandra! Rinse & repeat! Alternatively, you can win with a giant Lair of the Hydra.
We're also playing the Zacama, Primal Calamity sideboard juke for aggro decks! The plan is to sideboard out the combo and then bring in sweepers and turn it into a dinosaur control deck. In today's video, we're playing a recently reprinted card from Wilds of Eldraine (MTG WOE) — Sleight of Hand! This list might just be the fastest list yet.
