Portland firefighters run ragged by pace of downtown overdose calls

KGW reporter Blair Best recently rode along with firefighters in downtown Portland. They responded to a series of overdose calls within the space of a few hours, but not a single fire. That's a growing trend for the crews at Fire Station 1, who responded to 300 overdoses in June alone.
