Muzan makes its a point to say that he doesn't necessarily enjoy creating demons or the Upper Moons, but every man has his passion project and despite his words he still does something to show he cares
SOMEWHAT about each Upper Moon, by choosing their names. When choosing names for Upper Moon 6, Muzan chose Daki which means The Fallen Princess, and Gyutaro's name was chosen because that's what you call the boys who look for customers for Geisha and other Oirans. Curiously enough, the new Upper Moon 6
Kaigaku doesn't get his own personalized name by Muzan, showing just how recently he became a Demon because Muzan was probably too busy. For Gyokko his name means Jade Vase alluding to the only part of him Muzan likes, while Hantengu's name means Braggart, showing he probably met Hantengu at a point in his life where he was very boastful and prideful. For Akaza his name means Where beautiful things are hidden which is kind of sweet somehow, whereas Douma's name means Spooky Child, and Kokushibo's name means The Black Plague Conspiracy, being the one demon slayer who has taken out the most of his own kind.
