Wade endured 10 rounds of examination from both sides, including an exhaustive grilling from seasoned prosecutor Ron Zonen about every possible sexual act and triggering condition of abuse. Wade never wavered in his insistence that nothing remotely questionable ever happened between him and Jackson. In the end, Zonen had to theorize that maybe Wade was only abused while he was sleeping and didn't know it. WADE: "I'm telling you nothing EVER happened... I would think something like that would wake me up."
